History & overview · every faith gets one

A Mexican Restorationist Christian church centered on modern apostleship, baptism, and communal worship.

La Luz del Mundo is a Mexican-origin Christian church tracing its restoration to Aarón Joaquín González's claimed apostolic call in 1926. It teaches continuing leadership through a living Apostle of Jesus Christ. Congregational life includes prayer, hymns, Bible teaching, baptism by immersion in Jesus' name, and the Santa Cena communion gathering.

The founding

The church commemorates April 6, 1926, when it says God called Eusebio Joaquín González to apostleship in Monterrey and gave him the name Aarón. He later established the movement in Guadalajara. Scholars place the church within Mexico's Pentecostal and Restorationist environment while recognizing it as a distinctive, durable Mexican religious project.

Its founding is bound to Aarón Joaquín González, born Eusebio Joaquín González — 1926 CE.

What it holds

The divine. La Luz del Mundo teaches one God and identifies Jesus Christ as God's Son and the Savior. Scholars describe the church as nontrinitarian; its baptismal formula invokes Jesus Christ rather than the Trinitarian formula..

Death and after. The church connects forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life with faith in Jesus Christ, baptism, and life within the restored church under apostolic authority..
