History & overview · every faith gets one
No creed — seven principles, and the search itself is sacred.
The merger (1961) of two liberal Christian heresies — God is one, and hell is empty — grown into a creedless faith: congregations covenant around seven principles, draw from six sources including science and earth-centered traditions, and hold the free and responsible search for truth as the practice itself.
The founding
No single founder — Unitarian Universalism accreted rather than began.
What it holds

The line
descent is public here — where it came from, what left itBranches:
Secular Humanism — One life, no supervision, and the whole of the responsibility.
