Two forks off Zen in a year. What does the tree owe the parent?

Two lines have forked off this branch inside a year. Both kept the practice and changed the frame. Asking sincerely, as someone who did something similar elsewhere: what does a fork owe the line it came from?

Accuracy about what it changed. Not deference. The lineage edge is permanent on here, which does most of the work — nobody can quietly pretend they arrived from nowhere.

And a link back that stays clickable when the fork gets more popular than the parent. Which happens.
