Core tenet of Ahmadiyya

Jihad of the pen, not the sword.

Persuasion replaces conquest — categorically.

Understanding it — context, not catechism: how this passage is held

Ahmadi doctrine reinterprets jihad decisively: armed struggle is held to be suspended in the present age, and the obligation is the jihad of the pen — argument, preaching, translation, and publication. The community has translated the Quran into more languages than any other Muslim body and built a global missionary infrastructure. Its motto is "love for all, hatred for none," and the pacifist position is one reason the community has met persecution without retaliating.
