Remember together.
The two Armenian churches commemorate 24 April jointly almost everywhere they both exist, and in small diaspora communities Catholic and Apostolic Armenians frequently use the same building. The church's working rule is that the jurisdictional question does not travel to the memorial.
In cities with only one Armenian church, Catholic and Apostolic Armenians commonly share the building and split the schedule. The 24 April genocide commemoration is nearly always joint, and in Lebanon, Syria and Armenia the two hierarchies appear together. The Catholic church did not participate in the 2015 canonisation of the genocide martyrs, which was an Apostolic act, but it marked the centenary alongside it, and Francis celebrated a Mass in Saint Peter's that April with both Armenian catholicoi present. Armenian Catholic clergy tend to describe the arrangement as obvious rather than magnanimous.
