Core tenet of The Bahá'í Faith

Humanity is one people.

The earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens — racial and national prejudice named as the disease to cure.

Understanding it — context, not catechism: how this passage is held

The unity of humankind is the Faith's central social teaching, and it is worked out concretely: abolition of racial prejudice, equality of women and men, universal education, a world auxiliary language, and a global federal system with an international court. Bahá'u'lláh wrote to the rulers of his era demanding disarmament and collective security in the 1860s, decades before the League of Nations, and the community treats those letters as its political charter.
