Branch
Core tenet of Church Universal and Triumphant

The I AM Presence is above you, and it is you.

The Chart of Your Divine Self shows three figures on one axis: the Presence, the Christ Self, and the person standing here. The practice is closing the distance.

Understanding it — context, not catechism: how this passage is held

The Chart of Your Divine Self is the teaching in one image: at the top the I AM Presence, the individualised God-flame; in the middle the Christ Self as mediator; at the bottom the person in a body, connected by a cord of light. Every decree is addressed upward along that axis. The doctrine is a direct inheritance from Theosophy through Guy Ballard's I AM Activity of the 1930s, and members are usually told so. Its practical effect is that the practitioner is never petitioning a distant authority — the light being called on is described as the practitioner's own higher identity.
