The Hadith collections.
The Prophet's words and deeds, sifted and graded — the sunna made searchable.
Hadith are reports of the Prophet's words and actions, and Islam built an entire science to grade them: each report carries a chain of transmitters (isnad), and scholars assessed the reliability, memory, and character of every link, producing gradings from sound to fabricated. The major Sunni collections (Bukhari, Muslim, and four others) are the working corpus; Shia Islam uses different collections weighted toward the Imams. Because law is built on hadith, disputes about authenticity are disputes about practice, and the Quran-only movement rejects the corpus entirely.
