Separation from evil is God's principle of unity. The formula is James Taylor Senior's and it is the whole system: the body is one because it is separate, and anything that touches the defiled defiles. You do not eat with those outside the fellowship. From the 1960s the doctrine of separation was extended to the table, on 1 Corinthians 5:11.
