Navaratri.

Nine nights for the Goddess in her forms — dance, fast, and final victory.

Understanding it — context, not catechism: how this rite is held

Navaratri is nine nights of goddess worship, and its regional variety is remarkable: garba dancing in Gujarat, elaborate public pandals and immersion in Bengal for Durga Puja, doll displays in Tamil Nadu, and the Ayudha Puja on which tools, books, and instruments are worshipped rather than used. It ends in Dussehra, marking either Durga's defeat of the buffalo demon or Rama's defeat of Ravana depending on the region — the same festival, two stories.
