Paulo Kashaku reported visions from 1960; his daughter Credonia Mwerinde reported the Virgin at a rock cave in 1988. Kibwetere joined in June 1989 and appointed twelve apostles. New members read A Timely Message from Heaven repeatedly over four to six days before they were admitted.
