Every person is drafted by their choices.
Good thoughts, good words, good deeds — free choice is the battlefield; neutrality is not on offer.
Zoroastrianism makes free will structurally central rather than a philosophical afterthought: the war is real, both sides need recruits, and every thought, word, and deed enlists you. There is no predestination and no original sin — a person arrives uncommitted and chooses continuously. This is why the ethical triad is stated in three plain words rather than an elaborate law: the tradition needs the choice to be available to everyone, constantly, without expertise.
