The renaming, and the split. Joyu Fumihiro renamed the group Aleph in February 2000 and tried to build a version of it that did not centre on Asahara. By 2007 the majority had gone back to Asahara-centred practice and Joyu left with a few hundred people to found Hikari no Wa. Aleph is what stayed. Read it in full — context →
