Rite of Hasidism
The tish.
The rebbe's table: torah, song, and shirayim — food passed from his plate, blessing made edible.

Understanding it — context, not catechism: how this rite is held
A tish — literally a table — is the rebbe's gathering, usually on Shabbat: the rebbe eats, hundreds of followers pack the room standing, songs are sung, teaching is given, and the leftovers of the rebbe's food (shirayim) are distributed and eagerly taken. Nothing about it resembles a service. It is a community's central social and spiritual event compressed into a room, and the largest can run to thousands.
