The Mass, unbroken but unbowed.
The same Eucharist as Rome's — celebrated in the vernacular, by clergy who may marry, under bishops the parishes elect: sacrament kept, monarchy declined.
The Old Catholic Mass is recognizably the Catholic Mass, celebrated in the vernacular from the 1870s onward — a century before Rome did the same — with the priest facing the people. Bishops are elected by clergy and laity of the diocese rather than appointed centrally, which is the ecclesiology made visible: the same sacrament, a different distribution of authority.
