Rite of Pentecostalism

Spirit-filled worship.

Hands raised, tongues loosed, healing prayed for — the service expects interruption by God.

⏱ weekly — and unscripted◌ the whole assembly
Understanding it — context, not catechism: how this rite is held

Pentecostal worship is participatory and loud by design: extended singing, spontaneous prayer aloud by everyone at once, testimony from the floor, altar calls, and healing prayer with laying on of hands. Services do not run to a clock. The style has proved enormously portable across cultures precisely because it requires no liturgy, no trained clergy, and no building — which is why it is now the fastest-growing form of Christianity in the world.
