Reasoning.
Scripture, politics, and the state of the world reasoned through in a circle — the sacrament is the conversation.
A reasoning is the movement's central gathering: a circle, a chalice of herb passed, and hours of talk in which scripture, history, politics, and daily life are worked through collectively. There is no leader, no liturgy, and no conclusion required — the practice is the exchange. Nyabinghi drumming sessions are the larger ceremonial form, and the fact that Rastafari's central practice is conversation rather than ritual is a genuine structural distinctive.
