The Nativity.
God arriving as an infant in an occupied province — power inverted from the first scene.
The Nativity as usually pictured is a composite: Matthew supplies the star and the magi, Luke the shepherds and the manger, and neither mentions animals, a stable, or a number of wise men. The theological weight sits in the setting rather than the details — a birth in transit, to a family with no room, first announced to shepherds, who were not respectable witnesses. Christmas was fixed to December 25 centuries later; the Gospels give no date.
