The Bible.
Two testaments bound as one claim: the God of Israel kept his promises in Jesus.
The Bible is a library rather than a book, and its contents are not identical across Christianity: Protestant Bibles have 66 books, Catholic 73, Orthodox more, with the difference lying in the deuterocanonical works. How it is read differs as sharply — inerrantist, historical-critical, canonical, liturgical — and those approaches often divide Christians more than denominational labels do. It is the most translated text in history, and the fight over vernacular translation was, in the sixteenth century, a matter people were executed over.
