Congregationalism

Denomination·Founded 1582 CE·No single body counts Congregationalists. Most of the American churches went into the United Church of Christ in 1957; the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches and the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference each hold several hundred congregations, and the Congregational Federation is the surviving English body.
