No pope is infallible.
Vatican I claimed too much: councils and the whole church discern truth together, as the first millennium did.
The Old Catholic churches separated after the First Vatican Council of 1870 defined papal infallibility, which a group of prominent German-speaking Catholic theologians — Döllinger foremost — considered a novelty without warrant in the undivided church. They kept apostolic succession through the See of Utrecht, and the Union of Utrecht of 1889 formalized the communion. It is a small body with an outsized role in ecumenical history, being in full communion with the Anglicans since 1931.
